this is a record of a meeting of new friends. sometimes you meet people and feel like you've known them all your life. when, as musicians, that transfers to the musical realm as well, it's a gift. the sessions on this disk are the 2nd, 3rd and fourth time we played together. recorded exactly as it happened; no rehearsals, no overdubs. it captured the music before we knew what it was. we hope our joy and affinity in playing together reaches you.
